Recording
The second song off my EP is inspired by the album 'Harvest Moon' by Neil Young, originally started as a two-chord song, just good old I to IV progression. The more I improvised and experiemented, the tune grew into a soulful disposition and the lyrics became the forefront. The song's message is about suicide, paying tribute to the beautiful people I have lost on my journey so far. It is dedicated to souls no longer with us, who live on in our memories, forever. I recorded many versions of this song, the original, demo and live versions has been included to listen to the progression of the idea.
Think again
There’s patience around the bend
If you close your mind, you might never think
You might never have another friend
Think again
I’m seeing the light; I’m feeling myself again
Think patience is now my only friend
Wish now I never burned that bridge
I’ve never been so alone
Never been so alone
Think again there a rainbow near the end
If you close your mind, you might never think
You might never have another friend
I’ve never been so alone
Never been so alone
