Memories​​

Memories is in 6/8 time and heavily influenced by Prince. I feel that 6/8 time evokes a sense of depth in the groove of a song. I'd had the idea for 'Memories' for a while, starting with an audio recording of the melody on voice notes. "unbreak this heart of mine, I will love you till the end of time". I wanted the melody to include a statement, a repeat, and a response. Due to nerves during recording, the live version of 'Memories' was not released alongside the other songs. My vocal delivery was pithy at times, and I felt it did not accurately reflect my musical vision for the EP. I've included audio for demos and previous versions.
